Scan Alarms install Fire Detection systems in both Commercial and Domestic premises. These can range from smoke, heat or carbon monoxide detectors as part of an Intruder Alarm in domestic premises, to a fully diagnostic Fire Detection system in commercial premises.
All Fire Detection systems that are not part of an Intruder Alarm are installed to the British Standard BS 5839. Fire Detection systems can be remotely monitored at the Alarm Receiving Centre (Central Monitoring Station) and the Fire Brigade and / or keyholders can be alerted in the event of the system being activated.
A wide range of detectors is available to cope with the different environmental situations which may be encountered. These include:- Ionisation Smoke Detectors Optical Smoke Detectors Rate of Rise Heat Detectors Fixed Temperature Heat Detectors Smoke Beams. This enables us to install a Fire Detection system that meets the customers' requirements.

Our trained engineers can provide maintenance on our Fire Detection systems 24 hours a day. All maintenance is carried out to the standards laid down in the British Standard BS 5839.
