Comelit is a leading designer and manufacturer of audio and video intercom systems for both commercial and residential use.

The Comelit Simplebus cabling system permits transmission of audio and video over distances from remote doors, gates or barriers on sites that some manufacturers are unable to cope with.

Comelit audio intercom systems may be integrated with most telephone systems to allow calls to be answered and doors or gates opened via existing telephone handsets. A further option is available to divert unanswered calls to an alternative landline or mobile number of your choice whilst retaining the ability to remotely unlock doors or open gates.

Turnstiles and rotagates

We provide a range of internal and external electrically operated turnstiles and gates for pedestrian and wheelchair users. When used in conjunction with an access control system, turnstiles and gates can minimise the risk of ‘tailgating’ (the practice of following a card user through a controlled door without using a card issued to you).

Turnstiles and rotagates are typically used in staff entrance lobbies, secure areas, student common rooms, and resource centres.
