CCTV Systems - EPOS Monitoring

EPOS Terminals (Tills) may be overviewed by an individual high-resolution conventional camera or a small number of megapixel IP cameras while direct EPOS interfaces provide overviews of transactions on associated recordings.

We can offer management greater control by increasing the functionality of the monitoring systems to provide: custom reports, search facilities, automated notification by email of chosen exceptions occurring, and remote interrogation via broadband.

In forecourt environments we have advanced technology to interface the CCTV system with the latest Tokheim fuel POS systems. For example:

  • When a pump nozzle is removed from the base unit, an image is captured of the customer and the vehicle registration number, and a timer is initiated. If a transaction is not completed at a fuel POS terminal within a predetermined time, a warning (including the picture of the vehicle, the person, and the pump number) will be displayed on the fuel POS terminals to alert staff to a potential drive off.
  • When a customer presents themselves at a fuel POS terminal to complete a transaction within the predetermined time, the operator can verify that the appropriate transaction is being paid for. By entering the pump number given by the customer, the operator is able to view the image of the person and the vehicle thereby confirming that the customer is paying for the correct transaction
