Police response to an activation may only be requested if two different detection devices have activated within a thirty-minute period. However, if only one device has activated, current police regulations require intruder alarm activations to be notified to a keyholder.
Responding to an activation without police support may place the keyholder at personal risk, especially if attending premises after hours. An increasing number of companies and government departments are removing that risk by appointing a professional keyholding and guard response service.
We work with a number of vetted and approved response providers throughout Northern Ireland and can advise on availability in your area.
