NCP 104.3 Training
Thursday 8th November
Scan Alarms management team attended a training day organised by The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) to bring our knowledge base up to speed with the latest NSI CCTV design, installation and commissioning procedures NCP 104.3. These new procedures are designed primarily to guide NSI accredited professional CCTV installers through compiance with the latest EN standards (BS EN 62676) and in doing so improve the way in which we provide design information to clients both at initial quotation stage and at commissioning. The new procedures are due to come into full effect in Aparil 2019 and as leading local NSI Gold accredited installers it is crucial that we are providing our customers with systems which comply with the latest standards by that deadline. Failure of CCTV system designers and installers to be aware of and comply with these standards can result in clients not knowing exactly what to expect of their new systems and to possibly being dissappointed with the end result.
Attending the course were (from left to right), Darren Lamont our Technical Manager, Stuart McQuiston Operations Director, Tom Glasgow Sales Manager and Ryan McCurry Compliance Manager. |
