Farms are high-risk places of work with slurry pits giving off a mix of highly toxic gases, animals that may cause injury, machinery that can overturn on steep inclines or cause injury through the incorrect use of equipment. A lone worker device is worn by the worker allowing them to call for help manually or automatically with the exact location of the worker to the monitoring centre thus substantially reducing the time taken for help to arrive and actually locate the scene of the accident - potentially saving a life. |
